Laurence Féraud

Owner and Manager

Domaine du Pegau | Rhône, FR
Southern Rhône Valley, France

The Domaine du Pégau was created in 1987 when Laurence was back from her first step of Oenology School and second step Trading Wine and Spirits School in Paris.

Her and her father, Paul Féraud decided to leave the grand parents winery to build their own and develop their brand Pégau (Provençal wine picher). Together they produce the same traditional Châteauneuf-du-Pape style of Féraud’s family.

Since they extended the vineyards from 9 ha (19.8 acres) to 20 ha (44 acres) of Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red, 1.5 ha Châteauneuf-du-Pape white and 8 ha (17.2 acres) of Plan Pégau their Table Wine.

The Châteauneuf-du-Pape production is 7000 cases per year and 90% is exported over the world.

There is the regular Cuvée Réservée which ages for a longer time in the old foudre to be bottled in Cuvée Laurence and since 1998 the Cuvée Dapo in exceptional vintage.
