Purchase TicketsBurgundy conjures up dreamy images of gorgeous vineyards, misty landscapes, and historic small villages with winding roads. Château de Chamirey is all that and then some. Built in the 18th century, the château is located in Mercurey, the main village of the Cote Chalonnaise. Influenced by Italian architecture, looking down on French gardens, the setting is picturesque and quaint…now the family home of 5th generation vintner, Amaury Devillard.
The Devillard’s roots started in Mercurey in the XIIth century. The family also has domaines in Nuits-Saint-Georges, Givry, Mâcon, and Pouilly-Fuissé. With over fifty percent of their vineyards designated as Premier Cru, and quite a few Grand Crus, the Devillards understand the importance of price-to-quality ratio; their wines are accessible to everyone.
Join the dynamic Arnaud Trouvé for a 5-course wine tasting and dinner created by Nantucket”s legendary chef, EJ Harvey of the Seagrille. The evening will filled with storytelling and insight into the “other Burgundy” – the Côte Chalonnaise – top of mind today for Burgundy lovers.
The dinner will take place in a private residence with just 20 guests, beginning with a Champagne reception featuring Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame.
