Ashley Parker Snider

Owner Fess Parker Winery

Fess Parker Winery | Santa Barbara
Santa Barbara, California

When representing the Fess Parker Winery at consumer and trade events around the country the comment Ashley hears most is “you know I grew up with your dad.” It’s heartwarming to Ashley that even after so many years and her father’s passing in March of 2010 that people are still eager to share their memories of him.

Ashley is a California native but chose to venture east for college, graduating with a B.A. in English from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine in 1986. A college internship in Washington D.C. led to a position as a Trip Coordinator in the Office of Presidential Advance. At the close of the Reagan administration Ashley accepted a position in the Public Affairs Office of Housing and Urban Development Secretary Jack Kemp. Ultimately however, Ashley’s sense of family duty kicked in and she moved back to California to work in the family’s fledgling wine business, marry and start a family.

Over the last 30+ years Ashley has been involved in all facets of the sales and marketing functions of the winery. Ashley frequently travels to markets all across the country to work with the winery’s network of distributors and brokers, she contributes regularly to the quarterly newsletter and helps coordinate events and donations at the winery. An added plus is the joy of working with her two eldest children, Spencer and Greer as they too are a part of the winery team.

Ashley is a former board member of Direct Relief and is a current member of the board of the Cottage Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation and Westmont Foundation. She is an avid tennis and pickle ball player and a recovering golfer.
