One of Argentina’s most talked about and celebrated chefs, Iván Azar joins us from Mendoza Argentina. He heads up the kitchens at both the Michelin Starred, Casa Vigil and Angélica, Catena Zapata’s new restaurant.

His history in the kitchen began at the age of 20 in bustling Buenos Aires, his hometown. At 28 he decided to change the course of his career by moving to Mendoza, as head chef for Cavas Wine Lodge, before venturing into opening his own gastronomic venture. Today, since 2019, Iván has been leaving his mark at Casa Vigil and thus consolidating himself as a leading figure in the culinary scene of the land of wine.
