David Grunner serves as Folio Fine Wines’s Icon Director for Italian Wines, managing a national portfolio comprising three iconic Italian estates: Piedmont’s Bruno Giacosa, Sicily’s Donnafugata, and Tuscany’s Isole e Olena. Prior to joining Folio, David served as the US East Director of Sales for Daylight Wine and Spirits, a Sonoma-based wine and whiskey portfolio, and the inaugural Director of Sales for Hardshore Distilling Company, an artisanal gin-centric distillery based in Portland, Maine.

Born into a family with deep roots in the wine and spirits industry, David spent over a decade working in mission-driven education where he taught at both the secondary and university level, before stepping into the world of wine in earnest.
