Daisuke Nakajima is the founder of Bōken Sake, a company dedicated to introducing exceptional Japanese sake to the United States while helping preserve historic breweries with centuries of tradition. Born and raised in Japan, Daisuke spent much of his youth in Tokyo before coming to the U.S. to study Economics at Brown University and Applied Statistics at Columbia University. While working in the U.S., he often brought American colleagues to Japan, sharing meals and sake that revealed the drink’s power to connect cultures. Inspired by these moments, he founded Bōken Sake to honor Japan’s brewing heritage while creating opportunities for connection, discovery, and celebration around the table.
