This exclusive, educational journey explores how varied climates and seasons shape the wine’s signature balance of power, finesse, and velvety texture over time.
Opus One is the legendary 1978 transatlantic partnership between Napa Valley’s Robert Mondavi and Bordeaux’s Baron Philippe de Rothschild, merging Old World tradition with New World innovation to create a “California First Growth”. Their handshake deal aimed to produce a single, uncompromising Bordeaux-style blend, which debuted with the 1979 vintage.
This tasting will take place in the intimate setting of a private island residence for just 25 guests.
The wines tasted will include the following vintages: 2011, 2014, 2018, 2019 Opus One AND 2022 Overture (second wine of Opus One).
