Groth Vineyards & Winery Tasting – Great Wines in Grand Homes

Event Description

Groth Vineyards & Winery made history as the producer of the first American wine to receive a perfect 100-point score from The Wine Advocate: the iconic 1985 Groth Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. This milestone put Groth on the world map and helped pave the way for California wines on the international stage.

With its first vintage in 1982, Groth Vineyards remains family owned and operated, with three generations of the Groth family currently living on the estate. Sustainably farmed and CCOF transitional certified, Groth is nestled in the heart of the Oakville valley floor and is renowned for its Cabernet Sauvignon, including its flagship Oakville Cabernet and Reserve Cabernet from a distinct parcel of the estate.
In addition to its celebrated Cabernets, Groth produces elegant white wines, including an estate Sauvignon Blanc made in the style of a classic Bordeaux blanc, as well as a beautifully balanced Chardonnay.

Join Groth’s Director of Winegrowing, Ted Henry for a lovely tasting of Groth’s beautiful wines.

This event will take place in the intimate setting of a private island residence with just 24 guests.
