Event Description

Wine today – Wine tomorrow

A love affair that we want to last forever!

Join Elin McCoy, journalist, author and wine enthusiast for a fascinating tasting and discussion with some of the top winemakers and winery owners who are paving paths and designing avenues for the future of wine.

This is your opportunity to speak with the thought leaders on sustainability from Troplong Mondot (Bordeaux), Lerner Project (Napa Valley), Bodega Garzon (Uruguay), Lerner Project (Napa Valley), and Lingua Franca (Willamette Valley, OR), and Gamble Family Wines (Napa Valley),

From France to Italy, Oregon to Uruguay, taste beautiful wines and learn about the world-wide mission to address climate and natural challenges in wine production and wine business. Sustainability is practiced in many ways in vineyards around the world. Grapes are hand harvested, intervention is minimized, wineries have thoughtful designs using gravity flow system for wine production, wind and solar energy. They recycle water, compost grape skins, stems and seeds.

Now is your chance to ask questions  – where, how and what is the wine industry doing to make our love affair with wine sustainable.
