Before joining Opus One, Sean honed his craft at some of the most revered kitchens in the country, including The French Laundry and Atelier Crenn, where he developed an exacting approach to technique, seasonality, and ingredient-driven cooking.
Under Sean’s leadership, the Opus One culinary team sources directly from the winery’s own estate gardens, orchards, and seasonal harvests to create menus that harmonize with the estate’s iconic wines.
A graduate of Cornell University, Sean blends classical training with a deep respect for Napa Valley’s local bounty, contributing to experiences that are as memorable as the wines themselves.
