In 1981, Susana Balbo made history as Argentina’s first female enology graduate, eventually becoming the first woman elected President of Wines of Argentina—a role she held for three terms. This was the start of a legendary career defined by innovation and an unwavering commitment to the global prestige of Argentine wine.

This year, we are honored to welcome Susana’s daughter, Ana Lucia, to the NWF to lead us through a curated tasting of their award-winning portfolio. Joining her is acclaimed chef Flavia Amad, representing Susana’s two Michelin-recognized restaurants in Mendoza, who will provide signature “lite bites” to perfectly complement these world-class wines.
