Yves de Launay is a French native who holds a master’s degree in agronomy specializing in international trade, viticulture and oenology.
He is currently the Executive Vice President of Château Angélus in the Americas.
He has spent over 25 years in the United States working with some of the finest and most luxurious wines and spirits brands across the Americas and Caribbean.
In his previous roles, Yves de Launay has served in family-owned companies and a diverse array of multinational corporate groups such as LVMH, Richemont, and Kering, where he held top executive positions. He had the opportunity to establish the U.S. subsidiary for the second-largest champagne group; build and manage brands such as Saint Laurent, Cartier, Louis XIII Cognac, Krug, Dom Perignon, Château Cheval Blanc, Château d’Yquem, and many more; lead the private client team of Moët Hennessy; and serve as the head of wines for Sotheby’s.
