With nearly two decades of experience spanning some of the world’s most renowned Four Seasons properties, Executive Chef Tawfik Saadeh brings a wealth of global expertise and an unwavering passion for culinary excellence to Four Seasons Hotel One Dalton Street, Boston.
Now leading the kitchen at One Dalton, Chef Tawfik oversees the hotel’s entire culinary program, infusing his signature technique inspired by global innovation and seasonal flavors. His role encompasses menu development, training and mentoring the culinary team, and crafting unforgettable dining experiences across the hotel’s restaurants, in-room dining, and banquet operations.
A native of Damascus, Syria, Chef Tawfik’s love for cooking began at an early age, inspired by time spent in the kitchen with his mother and in his father’s small pomegranate molasses factory, where he developed a refined palate for balancing flavors. This early connection to food led him to pursue a degree in Hospitality Management from Damascus University, graduating with distinction in 2000.
Chef Tawfik’s journey with Four Seasons began in 2005 at Four Seasons Hotel Damascus, where he was part of the pre-opening team. Since then, his career has taken him across the globe, with key roles at Four Seasons properties in Istanbul, Milan, Prague, Tanzania, Nevis, Washington, D.C., and Vail. Most recently, he served as Executive Sous Chef at Four Seasons Resort Vail, where he played an integral role in leading the culinary team, overseeing large-scale events, and curating exceptional dining experiences for guests.
When he’s not in the kitchen, Chef Tawfik enjoys exploring new culinary trends, reading cookbooks, swimming, hiking, and traveling whenever possible alongside his wife, Collette, and their son, Steven.
