Born with hospitality in her bones, Shanley has worked in restaurants since the age of 15 and now has over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry. With degrees from Johnson & Wales University in Culinary Arts and Endicott College in Hospitality

She cut her Sommelier teeth at Del Frisco‘s Double Eagle Steakhouse in Boston’s Seaport, eventually
going on to open their Back Bay location under Lauren Daddona, A.S. before running programs at Atlantic Fish and Paul Wahlberg’s Alma Nove in Hingham. She then moved on to become the Director of Food & Beverage for Nashawtuc Country Club in Concord, MA
where she was recognized among the top private clubs in the country by Forbes Distinguished Clubs for Outstanding Wine & Cocktail program. Seeking a new adventure in which to utilize her passion and knowledge, she joined M.S. Walker of Massachusetts in
2023 and now oversees the fine wine and spirits sales to many of Boston’s top restaurants and hotels.
In addition to her Certified Sommelier certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers, she is also a Certified Sake Specialist with the Wine & Spirit Education Trust. She completed her Advanced Sommelier course in 2019 and is currently studying for her Advanced Sommelier exam.
