A native to the New York/New Jersey area, Sean spent many years in the New Jersey wine community. Most notably as the Head Sommelier at the Wine Spectator Grand award winning Pluckemin Inn restaurant in Bedminster, NJ. Moving on to work in NYC, Sean spent time as a Sommelier at WS New York. A private members club in Hudson Yards, and a collaboration with The Wine Spectator. Afterwards, he ran the wine program for the Fotografiska museum, located in the Gramercy/Flatiron district in Manhattan. This included multiple venues such as restaurant Veronika, Bar Veronika and Chapel Bar.
Returning to the private club arena, Sean is currently the Head Sommelier of ZZs Club NYC. A new project from Major Food Group, the team behind restaurants such as Carbone, The Grill and Torissi.
Off the floor Sean loves wine education, curating private wine tastings and classes whenever he gets the chance.
