Originally from Upstate New York, Samantha first arrived on Nantucket in 2016 for what was meant to be just a “fun summer”—but the island had other plans. Seven years later, it had not only become home but also the spark that ignited her passion for wine.

Eager to deepen her knowledge, Samantha pursued formal training at the International Culinary Center in Manhattan, where she became a certified sommelier and gained invaluable experience interning at Wine & Spirits magazine. She then refined her expertise in some of the region’s most renowned wine programs, first as a sommelier at Cru Oyster Bar on Nantucket, then at Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse in Boston’s Seaport.

Now at Ruby Wines in Massachusetts, Samantha continues to share her love for wine, curating selections that highlight both time-honored classics and exciting new producers. Whether guiding guests through pairings or seeking out hidden gems, she is dedicated to making wine approachable, engaging, and memorable.
