Mikayla is an experienced Sommelier and Beverage Manager with a background working in luxury hotels. Having a deep passion for hospitality, she has spent several years working at Relais & Chateaux properties in New England and is now proud to call Cambridge, MA home.
Mikayla moved from Vermont to Cambridge, a little over a year ago, where she was a full-time Sommelier at Twin Farms. Twin Farms is a luxury resort nestled in the hills of Barnard, Vermont, providing a curated wine experience to every guest. Mikayla is currently a Sommelier and Beverage Manager at Harvest Restaurant in Cambridge. Harvest is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2025 and is part of the Himmel Hospitality Group.
Growing up as an ‘Army Brat, ’ Mikayla had the opportunity to live all over the world and experience many different cultures. It’s no surprise after graduating from the University of South Florida and discovering her love for wine, the world of wine and hospitality became home. Driven by her passion for wine, Mikayla is an Advanced Candidate Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers and is looking forward to sitting the exam in 2025. When Mikayla is not busy studying, you can find her planning the next wine region trip, puzzling, and exploring the history of Harvard Square with her dog Pepper.
