Caroline, Certified Sommelier, started her journey in the Food and Beverage world on Nantucket in high school and hasn’t looked back since. She’s worked at restaurants in New York City, Charleston, Nantucket, and most recently Providence. Caroline graduated from New York University with an art history degree. Originally working at restaurants to make some extra money while at school, she quickly realized it was her passion to work in restaurants and chose wine are her career path. As it just so happens, history is what she finds most fulfilling when studying wine and sharing that knowledge, whether it be an anecdote about the winemaker’s experience or how events have shaped the region as a whole… knowing the story behind the bottle is what enhances the experience exponentially. She’s currently working at Gracie’s Restaurant in Providence, Rhode Island as a Sommelier and server. Her favorite part of the job is the teaching aspect, being able to assist her colleagues in expanding wine knowledge.
