Cassandra Felix began her wine career at the iconic resort, The Breakers Palm Beach, in 2010 while studying at Palm Beach Atlantic University. Cassandra was the Southeastern Regional Winner and a National Finalist of the Châine des Rotisseurs Best Young Sommelier Competition in both 2017 and 2018.

Also, in 2018, she successfully passed the Court of Master Sommeliers Advanced Sommelier examination and was awarded the SommCon Young Leaders Summit Scholarship in Washington D.C. After a decade long tenure at The Breakers, Cassandra relocated to Napa Valley, California to become the sole harvest intern at Buccella Wines in 2020; followed by serving as the founding Brand Director of Brendel Wines of Lawrence Wine Estates. In the following year, she became the Wine Director of The Boca Raton.

In 2023, she received The Hue Society Sommelier of The Year Award and is currently guiding diners through their wine journey at Chef Daniel Boulud’s Flagship Restaurant, Daniel. Lastly, Cassandra was most recently named a Finalist for The James Beard Award of “Outstanding Professional in Beverage Service” 2025.
