Brian Alberg has worn many chef hats over the years. A renowned chef based in the Berkshires in Massachusetts, Brian is chef/owner of Brian Alberg Catering. He ran the kitchen culture and food at The Break Room at Greylock Works after a many year stint at The Red Lion Inn in Stockbridge. He is also a Culinary Director for the Nantucket Wine & Food Festival.

A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY, and member of Chef’s Collaborative and Boston Chefs, he serves on the board of the Norman Rockwell Museum and the Railroad Street Youth Project and is founding chair of Berkshire Farm & Table. Brian curates Berkshire regional dinners annually at the James Beard House and has been selected chef for Outstanding in the Field every year since 2011. A staunch supporter of the local food movement in the Berkshires and Hudson Valley, he lives with his family in Kinderhook, NY.
