The Vineyard House is a boutique wine estate producing exquisite Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Sparkling Wine by the Nickel Family. The property is nestled in Halter Valley, a small corner of western Oakville bounded by Harlan Estate, FUTO Estate, and Promontory.
.In 2005, Jeremy Nickel set out to honor his late father Gil Nickel, creator of three of Napa’s most iconic wineries; Nickel & Nickel, Far Niente, and Bella Union. Today, with the help of vineyard manager Jim Barbour and the winemaking expertise of Atelier Melka, The Vineyard House is poised to to be recognized as one of the most elite producers in the Napa Valley.
Join us for an evening of legendary stories and iconic wines. This 5-course dinner will showcase the cuisine of Chef Lydia Shire of Scampo. Lydia is one of Boston’s and the country’s most beloved chefs. She is a legend and a dreamer, having paved paths and set the highest standards for culinary excellence. This dinner represents a perfect pairing with the storied wines of The Vineyard House. Chef Lydia will present each course to the guests, and Jeremy will present each wine pairing.
This intimate dinner will be held in the unique setting of a private residence on the island with just 22 guests.
