Aperture Cellars champions a range of stunning Bordeaux-style wines from the Sonoma Valley. Founded in 2009 by winemaker Jesse Katz, who was just named Wine Enthusiast’s Winemaker of the Year and was also the first winemaker ever featured on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list. Most recently, Aperture Cellars was featured on World’s 50 Best Vineyards.
Join Andy Katz, Jesse’s father and renowned photographer who was the inspiration for the name “Aperture” to highlight the artistic partnership. The winery features Andy’s photography on its labels, and the estate’s architecture is designed to showcase his work, reflecting their shared passion for visual art and, in Jesse’s case, wine.
Katz has produced over three dozen 100-point wines across his portfolios. This dinner will feature a 5-course menu created by award-winning chef Tom Berry, the Culinary Director of Boston’s Yvonne’s, Coquette, ROKA, and others. A collection of 100-point wines will be featured and the great stories behind them.
