Peter Sturn learned to love wine while living in Europe, first as a graduate student and later as an engineering and finance professional. After decades of living overseas, he returned to the States to begin his own journey within the world of wine, working with talented winemakers. Guided by those wines and winemakers that he loved (both domestically and abroad), his goal is to make the most exceptional wine that could be made in Oregon.

Eila Wines was founded in 2021, starting with small lots of superb fruit from extraordinary vineyards.
