Born in the small, rural town of Chester, Vermont, Dustin grew up far from the hospitality business. Working in local restaurants in high school, he took the deep dive shortly after and enrolled at The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. Dustin’s restaurant sommelier career landed him in many of Boston’s greatest steakhouses including Grill 23 & Bar, Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse, and Mooo…. After studying under multiple Advanced and Master Sommeliers Dustin continues to pursue his certifications and advance his knowledge. In addition to his wine career he also operates a small woodworking company based in Plymouth, Massachusetts where he and his finance also live, with their two cats Olive and Twist.
