Native from Toulouse in the South West of France, Andre moved to New York over 28 years ago.
Currently the Sommelier at Le Bilboquet NY and Sag Harbor, Andre built his experience in Michelin restaurant in Europe, such as; “Le Gavroche” in London, “Les Jardins de l’Opera” in Toulouse, and “Le Chateau Eza” near Monaco.
Over the last twenty + years, Andre has gained national recognition, as a Sommelier creating the wine program at Restaurant Thomas Henkelmann, The Homestead Inn in Greenwich, Connecticut, then as Chef Sommelier for Alain Ducasse at the Essex House from the opening in June 2000 thru 2006. He ran the wine program for the Brasserie Les Halles for four years before coming back to the “Fine dining scene” working with David Bouley in Tribeca and Adour at the St Regis. The journey allowed him to work with famous Chefs from Fine Dining to more cajole settings, having fun at Bistro Benoit NY or the reopening of the Loews Regency with SantAmbroeus.
Most recently, Andre was running the daily operations at Aldo Sohm Wine Bar, with Mentor and friend Aldo Sohm.
Proud defender of his roots, he teaches classes for the American Sommelier Association and is the Official Ambassador of the Wines of South-West France in America.
Lucky to make a leaving out of a passion, Andre also keeps challenges thru Triathlon and other races to support noble causes such as Wheeling Forward, Tunnel to Towers charity foundations.
