Born and raised in Boston, Katie Stotler took a while to fall in love with wine. After receiving her Bachelors overseas, she returned to Boston to enter the restaurant industry, focusing on back-of-house work but dabbling in the front as well.

After several years in the city, she was called to the island of Nantucket as a pastry chef, but an off-season in a wine shop reminded her of all the wonders of the beverage side of life, and she’s been in the wine industry ever since.

During this time, she passed her WSET3, French Wine Scholar, and became a Certified Sommelier. She has since left the island to work in Boston at Grill23, but visits as often as possible to see friends with a Cisco at the beach. Currently she resides in Watertown with her partner and cat, and enjoys dabbling in every art and craft and waxing poetic about beer styles and drinking Zinfandel.
