St. Helena Vineyard Manager Ned Horton joined Turley in 2020, having managed organic vineyards in Sonoma County’s Dry Creek Valley since 2009.

Before pursuing viticulture, Ned worked in wine production as a cellar hand and lab technician in the Russian River and Dry Creek AVA’s, starting in 2005. Food and wine have been a constant thread in Ned’s life from beginning in high school when he worked in restaurants in his hometown of Nantucket, MA.

For many years Ned has been fascinated by the elegant simplicity of Turley’s approach to wine production and is gratified to now be a part of Team Turley.
