Trevor Clough along with his husband, Jason Humphries, launched the first Digby wines for sale in 2013, having swapped the corporate grind of London for English wine country. Graduating from Brown University and growing up in the US and Germany, Trevor was impelled to help make English sparkling wine world famous for quality. Working with a cross section of some of the top vineyards in the South East of England, their dream is to put England resolutely on the world’s oenological map.

Wearing both the hat of CEO and Head Blender, Trevor ensures that all of Digby’s wines are distinctive – each bottle within the range has a lot to say about what makes English terroir so tasty. Working closely with Consulting Winemaker Dermot Sugrue (often whispered to be the best in England), they strive for wines of balance, elegance, complexity and character.
