Ian Magiros graduated from Johnson & Wales University in the spring of 2006 with a Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management and an Associate Degree in Restaurant Management, along with two minors –one in Beverage Service Management and theother in International Hospitality Management. Before Johnson & Wales, he also received an associate in business administration. After graduating college Ian, he has kept active with education in Wine and Spirits. Ian has completed the Wine and Spirits

Educators Trust Advanced Level 3 and is a Certified Sommelier with the Court of Masters Sommeliers. Ian is pursuing his Advanced Sommelier with the Court of Masters Sommeliers, along with the Diploma from the Wine and Spirits Education Trust.

Ian has a strong passion for everything beverage, from wine & spirits to sake, tea, coffee, and the art of mixing cocktails. He is the Wine Director for two restaurants in Manchester, VT, Mystic, and Social House. In addition to other consulting projects. Ian
has 16 years of experience in wine & spirits distribution as a Key Account Manager and a Sales Representative. Achieving recognition as Salesperson of the Year twice with M.S. Walker and once while employed at Johnson Brothers of RI. Before his time in the
wine business, Ian worked in hospitality in nearly every position in a restaurant.
