Chef Alex Pineda comes from Restaurant Royalty. His mother is Boston’s culinary legend, Lydia Shire. Alex did his culinary training with his mom, beginning at an early age and became Executive Chef of Scampo. Now in his early 30’s, Pineda has cooked in restaurants around the world. From Scampo in Boston, The Landing in Marblehead MA, Wolfgang Puck in LA, and restaurants in London, Barcelona, and China. Alex was a finalist in “Chopped” in 2020.

Today, Pineda is working on two new restaurant concepts in the Boston area – scheduled to open this summer. He cooks with fresh ideas and wholesome ingredients. Pineda brings an artistic touch to everything he creates.
