Celebrate French Culture and History with LOUIS XIII!
Our fascination with French culture and history dates back for centuries. Join us for an educational, delicious and historic journey through France with wine pairings and an exquisite menu designed by TOPPER'S Executive Chef, Kyle Zachary. The lunch will consist of three courses paired with prestigious wines of Burgundy and Bordeaux, the pairings classic French. Before the dessert course, guests are invited to celebrate the heritage and the history of LOUIS XIII, the finest cognac ever produced. From the origins in the Grande Champagne vineyards to the blend of 1,200 aged eaux-de-vie, to your seaside luncheon at TOPPER'S …. the afternoon will seem to never end. Transportation to the restaurant in Wauwinet will be provided from the White Elephant.
Kyle Zachary, Executive Chef, TOPPER'S
Kyle Zachary is the executive chef of TOPPER'S.
A graduate of the Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College, Zachary honed his skills in restaurants including Alinea in Chicago, Wheatleigh in Lenox, the Winnetu Inn on Martha's Vineyard, and TOPPER’S as sous chef in 2005. Most recently Kyle was the sous chef at the Intercontinental in Dusseldorf, Germany. Zachary returned to take the reign at TOPPER’S in 2010.
Zachary’s seasonally inspired cuisine at TOPPER'S has recently won critical acclaim from Forbes Travel Guide, Zagat, Travel & Leisure, Conde Nast Traveler and Saveur Magazine.
